At Kernutt Stokes, a Eugene-based CPA firm that prides itself on straying from the traditional, they tackle issues with a fresh approach. So it didn’t come as a surprise when they wanted to refresh their headquarters PIVOT designed 15 years earlier.
To reimagine the space with a warm, lively, inviting, and balanced contemporary update, PIVOT added collaboration zones to encourage employee connections, chose new ancillary and workstation furniture, specified wholesale paint updates, made code improvements, and more.
To give the first floor a more modern feel, a workstation section was converted into a flexible recreational area with different seating types, for work and respite alike, along with a shuffleboard, and a large multi-colored moss wall.
On the fourth floor, acoustical pods were selected to create connection points between private offices and the open office workstations allowing for small group collaboration or a change of scenery to foster productivity. New workstations were also selected and customized to update both aesthetic and function in the office.
PIVOT also renovated their Corvallis office choosing materials and finishings that aligned with the company's brand, workplace aesthetic, and functionality.
