RAIN NW Restaurant

MetroCom
By embracing the central elements of the region, RAIN NW is restaurant that embodies the Pacific Northwest.

The renovation turned a former Mexican and pizza restaurant into an industrial modern eatery with an open floor plan that incorporates the kitchen into the customer's dining experience. Steel mesh wine cages and maƮtre d' station work in conjunction with a color palette selected to compliment the rustic nature of reclaimed wood and concrete surfaces. A custom concrete bar edged in reclaimed wood winds along the space mimicking the soffit separating the dining area from the open kitchen and bar. On the east and west ends, projectors display a rotating pattern on deep blue walls to emulate the movement of water.

Relying heavily on locally-sourced products and vendors, RAIN aims to serve up something fresh in its farm-to-table approach.
