Ollie Court Affordable Housing and Early Learning Center

Homes for Good

Addressing two critical needs—affordable housing and child care—Homes for Good’s Ollie Court project provides meaningful relief for families in need.

Ollie Court is designed for multi-generational living, with 81 units across two buildings, six early learning center spaces, and a shared outdoor gathering area.

During the project’s conceptual stage, PIVOT played a key role in securing funding and acquiring the land from the City of Eugene through a competitive process. The design phase followed, with community charrettes helping to uncover the project’s core vision: a connected, inclusive, and safe environment.

This vision is reflected in the interior design, guided by the belief that spaces need not be extravagant to feel abundant. This sense of abundance is expressed through woven, textural, and durable materials used throughout the project. It is further reinforced in the thoughtful space planning, clear and identity-rich wayfinding, and the resilient finishes selected for the one-, two-, and three-bedroom units.

In the early learning center, the team embraced a playful theme inspired by the life of a frog on a lily pad. This motif appears in stamped frog footprints along outdoor concrete paths, murals within the learning spaces, and fixtures throughout the facility.
