Linn-Benton Community College pursued a successful bond measure in 2014 to make numerous facility improvements, including multiple projects on their Albany campus. The bond was successful on a promise to increase the college’s capacity in certain job training programs, and to make needed improvements to their thirty-year-old facilities. PIVOT led the effort to consolidate several of their Career and Technical Education programs. The project remodeled five buildings that included shop and fabrication spaces, as well as classrooms, offices, and administration spaces. Phase 1 included a seismic retrofit of Takena Hall and a remodel for a new Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory. Phase 2 included remodels for Mechatronics, Machine Tool, Welding, and Fabrication.
